Welcome to the winter 2020 issue of the Journal of Educational Leadership in Action (ELA). This issue of the journal highlights a variety of perspectives on leadership focusing on needs of middle leaders in Vietnam’s international schools, special education teacher evaluations, emotional aspects of principals’ work, phenomenological research to understand schools’ cultural phenomena, gender representation of professional mathematics organizations, student achievement in low socioeconomic areas, fundraising in higher education, online versus traditional learning, and EdD students’ view of research.
