The Journal of Educational Leadership in Action (ELA) is a peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly publication dedicated to advancing discourse and practice in the broad field of education and educational leadership globally.
Published by the College of Education and Human Services at Lindenwood University, ELA serves as a platform for rigorous research, theoretical exploration, and evidence-based practices that informs the reader across diverse contexts.
Scope and Focus
ELA welcomes original research, theoretical analyses, book reviews, literature reviews and scholarly essays addressing contemporary issues in:
- Educational administration and organizational leadership
- Instructional leadership and pedagogical innovation

Publication Information
ELA publishes two issues a year, each fall and spring while, accepting manuscript submissions on a rolling basis throughout the year unless a specific due date for an upcoming issue is published.
All submissions undergo rigorous double-blind peer review to ensure scholarly integrity and contribution to the field.
ELA adheres to the highest standards of academic publishing while maintaining its commitment to open access, ensuring research accessibility for scholars, practitioners, and policymakers worldwide.
