ELA Editorial Team

The Editorial Team comprises distinguished scholars and practitioners in the field of education who serve as ambassadors for the journal and provide critical evaluation of manuscripts for biannual publications. The academic stature and scholarly contributions of Editorial Team members significantly influence the journal's reputation and standing within the scholarly community. As such, the Editorial Team constitutes an essential component of the Journal of Educational Leadership in Action's intellectual infrastructure.

ELA Editorial Team Responsibilities

Beyond conferring academic credibility, the Editorial Team provides strategic counsel and scholarly support to the Editor in Chief and the journal's mission.

The Team's key functions include:

  • Conducting blind peer reviews and offering expert evaluation on manuscripts
  • Identifying emerging scholarly discourses and research ideas for thematic issues, special editions, and future directions of the journal
  • Providing critical assessment of current publications and recommending both thematic focal points and potential contributing scholars
  • Contributing scholarly content through invited editorials, position papers, and literature reviews
  • Engaging with prospective contributors from relevant disciplinary backgrounds
  • Advocating for the journal within academic communities and encouraging colleagues to submit high-quality, original scholarship that advances the broader field of education and educational leadership
