Abstract
The purpose of this research was to identify and assess the level of alcohol and substance abuse among the elderly. The primary focus was on the Black Elderly Community. The The secondary purpose was to determine the importance of an alcohol and substance abuse workshop for the Black Elderly Community.
The results suggested that a workshop was indeed needed for the Black Elderly Community. A workshop was designed using the data collected from the research.
