Dice Game Instructions
To start the game, double click on Dice.exe -------------------------------------------------------
1) When the screen first appears, please enter a Username in the box above the Start/Restart button.
2) Click on the Start/Restart button.
3) Two dice will appear above the Higher and Lower buttons.
4) You must predict whether the next roll of the dice will have a higher or lower total than the current total of the dice showing.
5) Click the Higher or Lower button to enter your choice.
6) You may click the Start/Restart button at any time to restart your game.
7) If your Health drops below zero, you lose and a message will be displayed
8) Scoring is based on how many times in a row you have guessed either correctly or incorrectly. Guessing wrong subtracts from your score and health, while guessing correctly adds to your score and health.
9) The highest score achieved is saved and displayed at the top of the game with the Username.
10) As your health grows, your level will increase and will affect scoring for both correct and incorrect guesses. a) If your level is 1 and your health grows above 6, your level increases to level 2. b) If your level is 2 and your health grows above 9, your level increases to level 3. c) If your level is 3 and your health grows above 15, your level increase to level 4. d) If your level is 4 and your health grows above 24, your level increases to level 5. e) If your level is 5 and your health grows above 32, your level increases to level 6 which is the top level at this time.
11) Scoring is calculated by first dividing your level by 3. Take the integer portion of that quotient and add it to the consecutive guesses. a) If your level is 6, then add 2 to the number of consecutive guesses you have made correctly or incorrectly. b) If you have 3 correct guesses in a row then you would add 2 + 3 to get 5; if you guesses incorrectly 3 times, then you would add 2 to negative three getting -1. We call this the multiplier. c) This multiplier is multiplied by 5 and added to the score, then the multiplier is multiplied by 0.25 and added to the health.
