Abstract
This project explores the intersection of game design and librarianship, and how video games can help redefine what it means to be a librarian in the 21st century. King Pangnapa was created as an artistic experience about librarianship with Unreal Engine 5, showcasing the potentials game design has for librarianship. In the game, you the player are tasked to find all the missing library books, after Mr. Grumpypants stolen them all after King Pangnapa refused to ban them! Punished, in a 3D Platformer King Pangnapa must find as many as he can in order to return back home to the Domain of Librarians.
