Comments

Normal "Tweed" Webb (1905-1995) was a former Negro League ball player. After retiring from playing, he later wrote articles, for the St. Louis Argus, on the league for 37 years. During this time, Webb created scrapbooks and collected scorebooks from the Negro League. He was considered a notable black baseball historian.

This is one of his scorebooks from 1920, when he played and kept score for the St. Louis Black Sox, just two years before the formation of the Tandy League.
