Abstract
A general education program is meant to create a foundation of exploratory learning. Professor Melissa Qualls and the GE Task Force are recruiting student and faculty perspectives to develop a more meaningful General Education Program. Lindenwood University introduced Graduate Attributes in the Fall of 2021 with the intention of implementing them into a new General Education Program to better student development. The goal of Lindenwood University’s General Education Program is to produce successful students who are adaptable problem solvers, lifelong learners, effective communicators, analytical thinkers, responsible citizens, ethical decision makers, and global advocates. The Student Assessment Scholars sought student perspectives using a Qualtrics survey. The data collection is ongoing and the results will be presented at the Student Academic Showcase.
