The Mexican Road Commission was a project funded by the United States to survey what became known as the Santa Fe Trail. In addition to surveying, the commission was charged with negotiating right-of-way treaties for United States citizens to travel through land owned by Native Americans.

The commission was led by George Sibley, Benjamin Reeves, and Thomas Mather.
