Nimi Finnigan graduated from Texas Tech University with a PhD in Literature with an emphasis in Creative Nonfiction and Poetry. Currently, her writing is very much focused on her village in the south of Haiti: Camp-Perrin, where magic and myth are part of everyone’s daily routine. Her writing has appeared in The Meadowland Review, Journal of Caribbean Literature, and Rosebud, among others.
