Maria Hummer was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio, and has earned a BFA in Creative Writing and an MA in Screenwriting. She is currently employed as American Proofreader for Cover Media in London, a job which mainly involves deleting a lot of U’s (i.e. colour/color). Maria writes screenplays and short stories, and her fiction has appeared in journals such as The Meadowland Review and Existere. More information can be found at her website: http://mariahummer.com.
