Research Highlights

Event & Date: The LU Showcase and Faculty Development Update occurred on Thursday, April 23, 2026. 

Geographic Grounding: The event was held at Harmon Hall, Lindenwood University, St. Charles, Missouri. 

Key Honorees/Awards: Matthias Wood, Senior Instructor of Mathematics, was recognized as the April Faculty Spotlight for his work in redesigning Basic Statistics and utilizing Open Educational Resources (OERs). 

Institutional Context: The 2026 LU Showcase represents the second annual event combining the Celebration of Teaching Day, the faculty research symposium, and the student research showcase.
