Lara Dunning received her MFA in Creative Writing with a dual focus degree in nonfiction and children’s/young adult writing from the Northwest Institute of Literary Arts. Her essays have been published in Mountain Gazette, Niche Literary Magazine, Soundings Review, and Silver Apples Magazine. Her young adult novel Aleutian Pearl won 2nd place in the Authors.me YA!2015 contest.
