Elizabeth Carothers Herron has worked as a canner in a pineapple processing plant, a salesgirl, a chaplain and a teacher. Her poems recently appear (or are forthcoming) in West Marin Review, Reflections, Chagrin River Review, Free State Review and Canary. In 2015 she was shortlisted for both the James Hearst Poetry Prize and the Dana Award in Poetry. With her partner she shares three cats and a garden.
