Brenna J. Conley was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, and graduated from Berry College with an Honors degree in Creative Writing. She was recently short-listed for the 2013 Paris Literary Prize and has been published in Berry College’s art and literary magazine, Ramifications, for her lyric essays and poetry. She received the Academy of American Poets Award in 2011 and the Hammond Poetry Award in 2012. Brenna travels to gain inspiration from strangers and from landscapes; she recently returned from a hitchhiking trip that took her from Portugal to the southern coast of Italy.
