Jeffrey Alfier is a 2010 nominee for the UK’s Forward Prize for Poetry. His poems have appeared in journals such as Crannog (Ireland), Borderlands: Texas Poetry Review, and New York Quarterly. His latest chapbook is Bluesman’s Daughter (2011), and his first full-length book of poems, The Wolf Yearling, has been published by Pecan Grove Press. He serves as coeditor of San Pedro River Review.
