Michael R. Schrimper is a PhD candidate in English literature at the University of Colorado, Boulder. His dissertation uses frameworks from Native American and Indigenous studies, spatial theory, and settler colonial studies to interrogate modernism and the national parks. His creative work appears in Chicago Quarterly Review, Joyland, Willow Springs, and minnesota review, among other publications. He holds an MFA in fiction from Emerson College, Boston, and is currently completing a novel and a collection of stories.
