Claire Caron aspires to live inside a Hallmark movie, baking cupcakes in the corner shop for her local elderly gossiping neighbors while helping the cocky new deputy sheriff solve small crimes and the occasional murder. She assumes he will propose in the old gazebo in the center of town during the annual popcorn festival.
