Diane Pickett has been published in Country Living magazine. Her selfpublished novel, Never Isn’t Long Enough, won several awards, including the Eric Hoffer award, Indie Excellence, Florida Authors and Publishers Association, and Southern California award for best regional fiction. She attended Florida State University and enjoyed a successful career as a medical executive. She has also owned several small businesses. Diane inspired the revival of the historic Florida Chautauqua Assembly, an acclaimed cultural and educational event. She divides her time between North Carolina and northwest Florida, where she recently founded a historic preservation nonprofit organization.
