Steve Jeffries lives in the Oregon Coast Range with his wife of 32 years. He lives in a very linear house he designed and built to last 1000 years. He lives on the very edge of the Siuslaw National Forest. There are bears where he lives and in the spring hundreds of hummingbirds. He is 67 years old and has written not so very linear poems since he was 19.
