Karen Burton received her MFA from Lindenwood University, where she served as the managing editing for Issue 4 of The Lindenwood Review. Her pieces have appeared in Foliate Oak, Canyon Voices, Hope: an Anthology, and White Moon, Blue Sky. Karen is a founder and editor of the Women’s Writing Workshop, an online project designed to empower women through written words, which launched in January 2016. She teaches creative writing and serves as facilitator for WOW, an adult writer’s workshop. She also teaches religious studies for Maryville University.
